Had to call the ambulance for mother yesterday. She was so weak she suddenly couldn't stand at all and she could barely talk. Last night the doctors said she has an internal bleed somewhere. They gave her a transfusion and want to do an endoscopy and a colonoscopy within the next few days. Said they have to get her blood thickened first. Guess her coumadin did its job too well. This is the third time this year she has been in the hospital and each time it is for something different. After a while you wonder how much more her little tiny body can tolerate.

You know it sometimes seems that we're a heckava lot more resilient than we think we are. Over the years I'd have sworn my parents were going around with one foot in the grave and another on a banana peel over and over, but they both lived into their 90s, so circumstances can be deceiving. All the same, I know you're worried. I'm sending good thoughts your way.

And I hope very soon I'll be sending your necklace your way, too. Been kind of out of it.

Hi Dear, I am sorry that this happened. She is at least in good hands and cared after. I am always saying this because in fact there are several countries where people cannot get a doctor the way they should. I am also thinking that the age plays these tricks but somehow it can be remedied. I dont know here of course but I send her my prayers and good thoughts for her quick recovery.

Hugs to you dear

The human body is quite resilient and rather unpredictable. Sending thoughts and prayers your way.
